Do you have experience performing at weddings and events?
Yes! Ana began her musical journey in Honduras and has continued performing and teaching music for many years. Slayter Strings has experience performing for weddings, ceremonies, church services, and special events throughout Central Louisiana.
Additional musicians who perform with Slayter Strings are also experienced musicians with performance backgrounds in orchestras, churches, weddings, and live events. We work closely with clients to create a personalized musical experience, whether you are looking for classical, romantic, Christian, pop, or custom song selections for your event.
How do I book Slayter Strings for my event?
To book, simply fill out the booking inquiry form with your event details. Once your date is confirmed as available, a non-refundable booking deposit is required to officially reserve your event. After that, a contract will be sent for review and signature, and we can begin planning the music for your special day
What is the payment policy?
A non-refundable booking deposit is required to officially reserve your date and will be applied toward your total balance. Once the deposit is received, a contract will be sent for review and signature. The remaining balance is
typically due before the event date, although flexible arrangements can always be discussed if needed.
Can I add more musicians to my event?
Yes! Depending on availability, additional musicians can be added to create a larger ensemble sound for your event. Options may include a duet, trio, or string quartet. Feel free to share what type of atmosphere or style you are envisioning, and we can discuss the best setup for your special day.
Do you attend wedding rehearsals?
Most weddings do not require rehearsal attendance for the musician. Before your wedding day, we will stay in communication with you or your wedding coordinator to go over timing, song selections, and ceremony details so everything runs smoothly. If you would still like us to attend the rehearsal for extra coordination and we are available, this can usually be added for an additional fee.
What should the client provide for the musicians at the venue?
For the comfort of the musicians, I kindly ask that armless chairs be provided if seating is needed during the performance.
Adequate lighting is also helpful, especially for evening events or indoor venues with dim lighting.
Do you travel outside the Pineville/Alexandria area?
Yes! I am available to travel for weddings and events outside the Pineville/Alexandria area. Travel fees may apply depending on the location and distance. Feel free to reach out with your venue details for more information.
